We use cookies and other technologies to collect personal information automatically through your use of the Site as described in the section entitled INFORMATION AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED.

Personal Information Third Parties Provide

We may obtain personal information from third parties, including vendors, service providers, and affiliated entities, which may collect your personal information to provide requested products or services or otherwise assist in the administration and management of our business operations.

INFORMATION AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED

We use cookies and pixels (also known as web beacons) to automatically collect information when you use the Site. Such cookies and pixels may be sent by us or our third-party service providers.

Cookies & Other Tracking Technologies

A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that may be sent to your web browser when you visit a website. Cookies might be used for the following purposes: (1) to enable certain functions; (2) to provide analytics; (3) to store your preferences; and (4) to enable ad delivery and behavioral advertising.

Cookies can either be session cookies or persistent cookies. A session cookie expires automatically when you close your browser, while a persistent cookie remains until it is deleted or expires. The expiration dates for persistent cookies vary and are set in the cookies themselves, some may expire after a few minutes while others may expire at a later time.

The Site uses both session cookies and persistent cookies, which may be sent by us or our service providers. The use of cookies enables certain functions on the Site and allows us to make the Site more responsive to your needs by delivering a better and more personalized experience. You can reset your browser to refuse cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent (for more information, review your browser’s settings). By changing your cookie preferences through your browser, you can accept all cookies, be notified when a cookie is set, or disable cookies. Please note, if you disable cookies, you may be required to re-enter your information more often and certain features of our Site, or our entire Site, may be unavailable.

We may engage in affiliate marketing, which is done by embedding tacking links into the Site. If you click on a link for an affiliate partnership, a cookie will be placed on your browser to track any sales for purposes of commissions. Company may participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program (“Amazon Program”), an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn commissions by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated websites. As part of the Amazon Program, the Site may contain customized links, which are provided by Amazon, to track the referrals to their website. For more information regarding our participation in the Amazon Program, please see the applicable Terms of Use. For more information concerning treatment of your personal information collected after you leave the Site, please see the section entitled SOCIAL MEDIA & THIRD PARTY LINKS below.

You may learn more about cookies and how to opt out of them by visiting the following third-party website: http://www.allaboutcookies.org/.

The Site also uses pixels, including Meta Pixels and Google Analytics Tracking Pixels, which are code embedded within a web page or email. Pixels are often associated with cookies and are used for similar purposes, such as tracking visits and engagement. When you access a web page or email that contains a pixel, the pixel may permit us or a third party to drop or read cookies on your browser, or collect other information about your browser or device. For more information about our use of Meta and Google Analytics tools on the Site, please see the subsections titled Third-Party Service Providers and Analytics below.

The following information may automatically be automatically received and/or collected from you through the Site: Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser language, internet service provider, resource requested, date and time of resource request, and HTTP referring resource (if provided by the browser), operating system, and/or clickstream data. We may aggregate this data, and may combine this data with other information we collect about you to better understand how visitors use our Site, improve user experience, and help manage, maintain, and report on use of our Site. We may also store IP addresses for fraud detection and prevention purposes.

Third-Party Service Providers

As noted above, we utilize third-party service providers to help us track activity within the Site through the use of cookies and pixels. Our third-party service providers include the following:

Analytics

We may use the aforementioned third parties, particularly Google Analytics, to help us analyze the gathered information about the areas visited on the Site (such as the pages most read, time spent, search terms, and other engagement data) in order to evaluate and improve the user experience and the Site. For more information about Google Analytics or to prevent the storage and processing of this data (including your IP address) by Google, you can download and install the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. You can also obtain additional information on Google Analytics’ data privacy and security at the following link: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

INTEREST-BASED ADVERTISING

We partner with third parties, which may include our third-party service providers listed above, to manage our advertising on other sites. These third parties may use technologies such as cookies and pixels to gather information about your activities on our Site and other sites (such as web pages you visit and your interaction with our advertising and other communications) in order to make predictions about your preferences and provide you with tailored advertising across the Internet based upon your browsing activities and interests. This information may also be used to evaluate the effectiveness of our online advertising campaigns.

If you would like to opt out of having your personal information used for the purpose of serving you interest-based ads, you may do so by contacting us at privacy@meetmikemiller.com. Please note this does not opt you out of being served advertisements. You will continue to receive generic advertisements from us, but the ads will not be targeted based on behavioral information about you and may therefore be less relevant to you and your interests.

For more information about interest-based advertising and to understand your options, including how you can opt out of receiving behavioral ads from third-party advertising companies participating in the Digital Advertising Alliance at http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ and the Network Advertising Initiative at http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/. To successfully opt out of interest-based advertising, you must have cookies enabled on your web browser (see your browser’s instructions for information on cookies and how to enable them). Your opt-out only applies to the web browser and device you use, so you must opt out on each web browser on each device you use.
